One hurt in two-vehicle crash in Fillmore County

HARMONY An Otsego woman was hospitalized Thursday evening, May 6, 2021, following a two-vehicle crash in an alley in Harmony.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded about 5 p.m. to the crash in the area of Minnesota Highway 139 and First Street Southeast. A 2005 Buick Lacrosse was southbound on Highway 139 and a 2010 GMC Acadia was stopped in an alley when the two vehicle collided.
The driver of the Buick, 22-year-old Lashunte Nyera Juma, was taken to an Iowa emergency room for non-life threatening injuries. The State Patrol does not list any injuries for the driver of the GMC, 25-year-old,Audrey Caroline Shimek, but notes that she may have gone to Olmsted Medical Center.
