Bhubaneswar, Feb 22 : Odisha Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari presented the annual budget for 2021-22 with an outlay of Rs 1.7 lakh crore in the state Assembly on Monday.
Pujari also presented a separate agriculture budget of Rs 17,468 crore.
The Minister said despite the severe impact of Covid-19 pandemic, the state s own revenue is estimated to register a robust growth of about 10 per cent during 2020-21, though there is a decline in the central transfer.
In the budget, the state government has proposed to spend Rs 3,500 crore over the period of three years to convert SCB Medical College and Hospital into AIIMS Plus institute to provide world-class healthcare facilities to citizens.

Odisha Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari presented the budget for 2021-22 with an outlay of ₹1,70,000 crore about 26% higher than that of 2020-21 (revised estimate) in the Assembly on Monday.
Mr. Pujari has ensured that the Naveen Patnaik government’s all flagship projects Puri Heritage Corridor, Lingaraj and Samaleswari temple beautification programmes, SCB Medical College development and Kalia (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation) do not face fund shortage.

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], February 22 (ANI): Odisha Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari on Monday presented welfare, development, investment and transformation-oriented annual budget for 2021-22 in the Odisha Legislative Assembly with an outlay of Rs 1,70,000 crores.
This year also the Budget was presented in two parts - Agriculture Budget and General Budget . It was about 26 per cent more than the 2020-21 revised estimate budget. The uniqueness of this year s budget was in NeVA (National e- Vidhan Application) - A green initiative and a dedicated Odisha Budget Mobile App - Available in both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, according to the state government.
