Central London has been named as the location with the highest amount of new fashion retail store openings between April 2020 and April 2021, exclusive research compiled for Drapers by Local Data Company shows. Recent store openings in central London include Ralph Lauren s flagship store, and Browns which opened in April. Versace, opened its London flagship store in December.
Telford Shopping Centre and McArthurGlen s Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, which opened on 12 April, came in second and third place respectively in a list of the 16 UK locations with the highest new fashion chain store openings. The data does not include the exact number of stores that have opened across the 12-month period.

Asda is set to launch a new sustainable clothing line across 50 UK stores, including two in Liverpool. Following a successful trial, the
supermarket giant will bring a new lease of life to second-hand clothing from this month. In partnership with vintage fashion wholesaler Preloved Vintage Wholesale, the concept will allow customers to buy vintage, retro and second-hand branded pieces that have been restored and rescued from landfill, reports the
