June 25, Phil Wickham will release his eighth album, Hymn Of Heaven (Fair Trade Services). Encompassing 13 songs, including his multiple-week No. 1 hit Battle Belongs, the anticipated project is the follow-up to his 2018 release Living Hope, which features the RIAA Gold®-certified single and GMA Dove Award for Worship Recorded Song of the Year of the same name.
Throughout the process of crafting new music during a global pandemic that created unprecedented obstacles for the local church, Wickham saw an opportunity - the church wasn t relegated to a building. It was happening in our homes and in our hearts.

In a year when the family of God couldn t physically gather in houses of worship around the world, Phil Wickham wrote songs primed for communal praise. Throughout the process of crafting new music during a global pandemic that created unprecedented obstacles for the local church, Wickham saw an opportunity - the church wasn t relegated to a building. It was happening in the homes and hearts. As his heart longd for eternity, Wickham set out to express this universally experienced awakening, resulting in his eighth studio album, Hymn of Heaven (Fair Trade Services).
Phil Wickham released La Batalla featuring
Christine D Clario a week ago. La Batalla is the Spanish version of Wickham s current No. 1 hit Battle Belongs. A lyric video was also released. A huge thank you to Christine for joining me in bringing this version of Battle Belongs to life, Wickham recently shared on his socials. I hope and pray La Batalla is an encouragement and blessing to my Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters out there!
He continues, Growing up in San Diego, there has always been a strong presence of the Spanish-speaking church in my hometown. When I was in youth group we would take trips down to Mexico to worship with and work alongside the church communities down there. I was always so moved by their passion when we would sing. What an honor to sing with Christine to bring this new version to life.

This CD started life as Burn For You before being retitled. Steve Fee has previously recorded Sacred Space and is a worship leader at North Point Community Church in Atlanta and has risen to US prominence through the seminal Passion events. His band, showcased here, are an exceptional, powerful rock worship unit. The opening guitar on All Because Of Jesus and Burn For You sent shivers down my spine as it reminded me of the shimmering guitar that I first heard on The Joshua Tree by U2. Also the track We Shine could easily have been done by Delirious? as it closely resembles their style of anthemic rock. That cut alone, much played on CR s Rimmerama programme, makes this a must have for those looking for rock praise with true rock n roll passion. I m not sure why they decided to record the Tim Hughes song Happy Day when they could have easily put in another one of their own compositions but their reading is powerful. My favourite song is
