New Yorkers 60 years of age and older can get vaccinated at more than a dozen state-run mass vaccination sites without the need for an appointment starting Friday, April 23. The only way to address and defeat COVID and crush COVID is to get the vaccination. We have to reach herd immunity, Cuomo said.

Yonkers, N.Y. Anyone age 60 and older can get a Covid-19 vaccine without an appointment at 16 New York state-run mass vaccination sites starting Friday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said today.
That includes mass vaccination sites at the New York State Fairgrounds, State University of New York Polytechnic Institute in Utica and others.
“You don’t have to go on the internet, you don’t have to make a phone call,” Cuomo said today during at appearance at a vaccine site in Yonkers. “Just show up.”
