Shares EOS R6 with lens RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM
The new firmware updates, Canon Australia says, will give richer colour and quality, simplify video workflows, and introduce compatibility with new zoom lenses for EOS cameras.
The EOS R5, EOS R6 (firmware v1.4), and EOS-1D X Mark III (firmware v.1.5), claims Canon Australia, make each camera a powerhouse for professional video capture.
According to Canon Australia, the new firmware update brings the requested Canon Log 3 (C-Log 3) to the EOS R6 and EOS-1D X Mark III, a feature which is currently available on the EOS R5. Canon’s Log 3 expands the range and offers more colour space options to achieve rich, high-quality video that mirrors Hollywood standard cinema cameras.
Canon EOS R3 announcement expected in September, Nikon Z9 in November/December
