Hong Kong: Govt to preserve historic reservoir An underground reservoir in Sham Shui Po will be preserved for heritage purpose and the works at the site will be suspended, Commissioner for Heritage Ivanhoe Chang said today. Speaking to reporters after an on-site inspection this afternoon, Mr Chang said an in-depth study will be undertaken on the conservation value of the structure at the Bishop Hill and the findings will be submitted to the Antiquities Advisory Board. The AMO (Antiquities & Monuments Office) has already started its work. Of course, given that it is a very serious issue to study all the first-hand historical materials as well as all the architectural plans.
