(Nina) is impressed that Asha has done what she should have done and that she is starting to realise her own worth. Asha does it in such a strong way and tends to not always believe in herself so this surprises Nina and makes her see Asha in a different way. From Nina s point of view, that moment came out of the blue. Nina s feelings for Asha have been a slow development and at first she was just always being a good friend. Nina is a passionate person and does things with a lot of detail. they are two really good characters that can learn from each other. It is a really nice match.

Coronation Street star Tanisha Gorey is hoping viewers will see her character Asha blossom after more upsetting scenes to come.
Asha has been struggling in school in recent weeks, with Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) just learning in Friday s (January 8) double bill that her mock exams were much lower than brother Aadi s (Adam Hussain) results.
To add even more stress, the teen will face more pressure from boyfriend Corey (Maximus Evans) to have sex when she turns 16 next week, as he also shows controlling behaviour. ITV
Addressing how Asha sees her relationship as she turns 16, the actress said: For Asha it s all about people seeing them as a proper couple, about her family accepting Corey, so it s more of a hope that everything goes well enough now for her to bring him in as a boyfriend and finally feel secure with him.
