Nath Valvo is one of Australiaâs most cheer-bringing personalities â even when youâre not laughing, youâre having a hilarious time. Itâs fascinating to see how his manic pixie aura has been tinted by 2020.

Not that this is his overt subject. Instead he gleefully pounces from True Crime obsessives to the unspoken crappiness of Airbnbs to his fear of getting married, his talons as sharp as ever.

Melbourne Town Hall, until April 18

Marty Smiley and Nat Damena release new podcast Housewarming
February 24, 2021 5:00
Comedian Nat Damena and journalist Marty Smiley have launched a new podcast about sharehouse living, Housewarming.
The announcement:
Housewarming is a share-house confessional where housemate hosts Marty and Nat hear people’s craziest stories of shared living.
From dead plants to dodgy landlords, from pillow pooping pets to housemates that never flush. They’ll go where many podcasters have dared not to!
Hosted in a Newtown sharehouse, each week the podcast will explore different aspects of housemate etiquette with some fellow renters including Nina Oyama, Becky Lucas, Cam James, Lucinda ‘Froomes’ Price, the Betoota Advocate, Jenna Owen (Freudian Nip), Cam Walker (Struthless) and many others.
Danae Gibson and
Pick A Pod.
As the AFLW season is well underway, Danae took the opportunity to discuss three of her favourite football-related podcasts, all hosted by women.
We checked out
This AFL Life and
The Outer Sanctum; all touching of different aspects of the game, both on field and off field.
Meanwhile Taylah talks up a new Australian podcast in
Housewarming. Two mates, their house falling down around them and stellar guests, including the always funny
Nina Oyama on episode one.
You can always keep up to date with Pick A Pod every Tuesday morning on
Breakfast with Taylah and listen back to past episodes here.
