17 December, Nigeria – Kucheza Gaming, in partnership with Digital Schoolhouse, Edu360 and Into Games are delighted to announce the first Mobo Game Jam.
Mobo Game Jam is an international game-making challenge which will see young innovators from the UK and Nigeria compete to create games that combine creativity, compassion and computational thinking to solve a worldwide problem.
Individuals and teams aged 8-18 must submit a game or game concept that explores how to achieve a future where everyone has access to clean water. Entries must meet a brief set by WaterAid, which has been brought to life in a mini film by the renowned storyteller Grandma Wura, a fictional character created by Proud African Roots.
Gnosia is an RPG and an Adventure game (what we call Visual Novels outside Japan). When starting the game, players can customize their characters, attributing points in stats such as Charisma and Stealth. The player can earn levels to increase their stats to learn new skills usable during conversations. Some of the actions avalaible such as “lying” have a success rate depending on your stats. you can do such as lying will succeed or fail depending on your stats. Moreover, the NPCs can use Skills as well. Lastly, the player’s stats and level carry over in each loop.

On a semi regular basis, Nintendo hosts its ‘Nintendo Indie World Showcase’, providing a platform to announce new and upcoming indie titles. The console manufacturer has now announced its next showcase, which will take place later today at 5pm UK time, offering “roughly 15 minutes of updates and new announcements.”
Making the announcement on its Twitter, Nintendo told fans to “Ring in the holidays with a new #IndieWorld Showcase on Tuesday, 15/12 at 5pm (UK time)!” where they could “tune in for roughly 15 minutes of updates and new announcements on indie games coming to #NintendoSwitch from our global partners.”
While nothing is currently known regarding what may show up at the showcase, the last Indie Showcase by Nintendo (which took place in August) included announcements for Switch releases of Subnautica, Spiritfarer, and Game of the Year nominee Hades, among other announcements.
