A GOLDEN Gourock couple are living well with dementia thanks to the support of Alzheimer Scotland services in Inverclyde. To mark Dementia Awareness Week, which runs until June 6, the Tele spoke to Gourock couple John and Margaret Lowe. John has been caring for Margaret since she was diagnosed with the condition in 2014. The couple, who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary later this year, say that the help provided by Alzheimer Scotland in Inverclyde - alongside the love and support they get from friends and family - helps them to tackle any challenges they face. John, 72, said he suspected Margaret had the condition but it took a while to get this confirmed.
