Pooch Perfect, to be produced by Beyond Media Rights and hosted by actress Rebel Wilson.
The eight-episode series, scheduled to air this spring, will see teams of dog groomers compete in a series of themed challenges each week until the series finale, where the top three teams go head-to-head for a cash prize and first place trophy.
Television personality Lisa Vanderpump, celebrity dog groomer Jorge Bendersky and veterinarian Callie Harris serve as the trio of judges.
Elan Gale, Sonya Wilkes and Wilson executive produce with Nicole Anthony, Mike Rosen, Carley Simpson and Matthew Silverberg serving as co-executive producers.
The series was originally created by Seven Studios UK now Beyond Productions following Beyond International’s acquisition of the outfit in July 2020 for Australia’s Seven Network. Wilson also hosts the Australian version.
