FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Salvation Army well surpassed its goal for its 2020 Christmas Kettle Campaign.
According to Fort St. John Salvation Army Executive Director Cameron Eggie, despite the hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the community was able to step up and raise $131,500, which is more than this year’s goal of $75,000 and even surpassed last year’s fundraising efforts.
As part of the efforts, Eggie says the light show at St. Nicholas Drive managed to bring in $23,500 of the total amount.
