Feb. 6 (UPI) An Illinois judge has sentenced a man who sexually assaulted a bank employee during a hostage standoff last year to 30 years in prison.
Judge Jennifer Clifford handed down the sentence to Nicholas August, 39, who pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault with a weapon. Under the plea deal, another 22 counts were dismissed.

The judge ordered August to serve two 15-year sentences back-to-back, with at least 85% of the total sentenced serve before he can be considered for parole.
