Dubai Food Festival 2021 is celebrating ‘Made in Dubai’ entrepreneurs, and has shortlisted homegrown eateries built by visionaries who have given the city unique menus, cafes, restaurants and dining concepts.
These selected eateries have been born and bred in Dubai by Emirati, international and globetrotter chefs (chefs who have travelled widely), who have demonstrated exemplary entrepreneurial and culinary skills.
With more than 200 nationalities in Dubai, it is no surprise that the list includes eateries that serve cuisine from all over the world, some with Emirati adaptation. Not only this, these food entrepreneurs have also contributed to Dubai’s rapid hospitality growth and development.

The LA Rams have drafted two safeties in each of the previous two years, but that won’t necessarily take Indiana’s Jamar Johnson off of their board. Even on day two. This would be in part because Johnson’s comp over at NFL.com by Lance Zierlein is former Rams safety
John Johnson.
“He has a chance to be what everyone wants to have on their roster a true nickel-safety hybrid.” Pro personnel director for NFL team
Johnson is 6’1, 197 lbs and he reportedly ran a 4.58 40-yard dash at his Indiana pro day last week; right around where Johnson wanted to be at. Johnson played in 20 games over the last two seasons, recording 50 tackles with six interceptions and four sacks. He’s been praised for his versatility and like 2020 third round pick Terrell Burgess, Jamar Johnson could project as a starter at a number of different positions, including free safety and slot cornerback.

It’s official: Time Out Market Dubai is open for business!
As of today, visitors can sample the best of the city’s culinary talent and culture under one roof, with a line-up of top chefs carefully curated by Time Out Dubai editors. The market is in a prime spot in Downtown Dubai’s Souk Al Bahar and offers incredible views from its outdoor terrace over the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain.
Last night we held an opening party for VIP guests, with four artists from art institute Tashkeel creating live pieces around drinkers and diners. And there was just as much to see outside, as the neighbouring Burj – the world’s tallest building, FYI – lit up with projections of Time Out’s logo and previous magazine covers.
