Auckland Unlimited: Four top roles filled at merged council agency

Auckland Unlimited is still seeking directors of Marketing and Communications, Change and Transformation, and a Chief Digital Officer. Ford, Te Hira and Macrae have come from roles in the legacy organisations, whil Harris has returned from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The merger of the two previous council organisations ATEED and RFA was the main structural change to emerge from a six-month review of the effectiveness of the council’s agencies. Colin McDiarmid/Supplied Pam Ford has been named director of Investment and Industry at Auckland Unlimited. Auckland Unlimited’s chief executive is Nick Hill, who said the new appointees will start taking up their roles from July 24.

(Photo / Supplied) Local principals respond after girls school sexual harassment survey Wed, 30 Jun 2021, 10:43AM Christchurch secondary school principals have spoken out after a Christchurch Girls High School survey revealed more than 20 students claim they have been raped. Respondents also reported 2677 incidents of sexual harassment as of May this year. Police visited the school on Tuesday to speak to students at each year level about safe reporting. Three girls have since laid formal complaints with police about their experiences.
