Welshpool coffee house praises community spirit

THE Welshpool community has been described as “second to none” after rallying round to support a popular town centre coffee house that was vandalised last week. Coco Coffee House had its front window smashed on Friday (May 14); owners posted pictures of the damaged shop front on its Facebook page, with the incident believed to have been caused the previous night. The damage could not have come at a worse time for the owners, who were busily preparing for the reopening today of hospitality businesses indoors – another step towards coronavirus restrictions easing in Wales as the nation enters Alert Level 2. Indoor hospitality across the country can re-open today, with six people from up to six households (not including children under 11) able to socialise in cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as cinemas and museums.
