It was a big round of footy and there were important storylines across the weekend.

Positive: Schoenberg shows up
There weren’t many Adelaide players who could hold their head high after the lacklustre 63-point loss to Essendon.
One Crow who did his bit was youngster Harry Schoenberg.

It was a dirty night from both sides on Friday.
It was a down night for Adelaide, as they were kept to their lowest score in 30 years, and it was a down night for the Bombers, who kicked 11 goals but 18 behinds.
That said, it was undoubtedly good to get a win after two losses against premiership hopefuls in the past month, and I’ll certainly take the 63-point margin.

Errol Gulden is the most talented player out of the 2020 NAB AFL draft.
While many thought Braeden Campbell would be the young Swan to take the competition by storm this season, it has been Gulden who has become an important part of a finals-quality team, already proving to be a value pick at 32 in last year’s draft.
Through Sydney’s tough opening set of fixtures, Gulden was remarkable. In the first five games of the season, he averaged 19 disposals, seven marks, five inside 50s and two goal assists a game.
