“We’ve had a really strong morning, Lauren Brown, owner of women’s and men’s clothing independent Sisters & Misters in Falkirk, told Drapers. We haven’t had queues, but the street is very, very busy. People are buying and everyone seems so happy to get in a shop. I’m already feeling really, really positive about it all.
She added: “We’re in for a good summer – as long we don’t go backwards again. Trade is going to be on par with reopening in the middle of July 2020. It was really strong in August and September, and we were on a high, until we were forced to close in December. I can only hope the same thing will happen this time.
