Over $7 million is coming to 87 local and virtual events and initiatives from the Province’s Reconnect Festival and Event Program.
The funding supports the festival and event sector which was impacted by COVID-19.
Locally the Goderich Festival of Lights got $25 thousand, while Lights On Stratford received $146 thousand.
The program was designed to help festivals and organizers adapt to all the charges brought on by COVID-19.
The 2021 version of the program will open on March 17th.
