The 30-share Sensex settled at 53,140, down 19 points or 0.04 per cemt. While the broader Nifty 50 index ended the day 0.80 points or 0.01 per cent lower at 15,923. Bharti Airtel, Ultratech Cement, Tata Steel, Power Grid Corporation of India, Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), ITC, Sun Pharma, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank were among top index gainers.
