Wesley Spring, 18, of Lilac Drive, Lowestoft, was arrested in hospital and later charged after a two-car crash closed a village road for eight hours. He had to be cut free from a Mercedes following the crash on the B1437 London Road in Kessingland on Saturday, January 30.

Jamie Felmingham, 40, of Marine Parade in Great Yarmouth, has been charged with aggravated burglary and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Wednesday February 3. He was arrested in relation to an incident on South Market Road in Yarmouth town centre on Sunday, January 31. Police were still on South Market Road in Yarmouth on Tuesday morning following an altercation which happened on Sunday

Simon Fitzgerald, 33, of Sunningdale Close, London, indicated a guilty plea by post to the charge of driving without due care and attention and driving otherwise in accordance with a licence at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on February 1. The court heard that just before 3pm on July 18 2020, Fitzgerald was doing 35mph in a 30mph zone along Bell Road in Barnham Broom, near Dereham, when he was stopped by a special constable.

Police arrest man after court no show over Norwich pub crash

A man who failed to appear in court in connection with a case where a stolen car ploughed into a Norwich pub has been arrested. Police were called to The Mischief pub, on Fye Bridge Street, at 11.40pm on January 22 last year to reports that a Silver Seat Leon mounted the pavement and hit four pedestrians. The ambulance service was called to the scene, but no one was believed to have been seriously injured. Dean White, 27, of High Street, Lowestoft, was due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Tuesday, December 22 having been charged with aggravated vehicle taking on January 26 last year in relation to the incident.
