A nationally known dog rescue group based out of South Florida said they are seeing donations hurt after an article tied the group to locations owned by former President Donald Trump.
The president of Big Dog Rescue Ranch, based out of Loxahatchee Groves, told NBC affiliate WPTV -TV the report from the Huffington Post linked the group to Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara, and also mentioned fundraisers held at Mar-a-Lago and two other clubs in Palm Beach County.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â Tommy Habeeb said heâs a story teller at heart, but his latest reality show has brought him to Tennessee finding forever homes for neglected animals.
âThere are some tough situations where dogs are close to death, you donât even know how theyâre still alive and then theyâll just crawl up into your lap and lick your face and give you love,â he said.
These days, the producer and host can be found filming at animal shelters across the country- it s a far cry from his previous reality shows like Cheaters . It was just time to do something that was important to me and rescuing dogs and people were important.â
