The miners were working deep inside their coalmine on Monday night when an explosion took place.
Mines Inspector Sabir Shah said the incident took place in a coal mine owned by a private company a portion of which collapsed due to the explosion, causing release of methane gas.
After the blast, eight miners were trapped deep inside the mine, he said. However, all miners were subsequently rescued and taken to district hospital in Duki, he added.
Mr Shah said three of the miners were later referred to a hospital in Quetta because of their serious condition.
The injured miners were identified as Abdul Ghaffar, Matiullah, Manzoor, Siddique, Nimatullah, Bahaullah, Naik Mohammad and Sabir Shah.

PSP asks ECP to reject Sindh govt’s excuse, announce local government polls immediately
Karachi
February 14, 2021
Criticising the Sindh government for not holding the local government elections in the province on the pretext of controversial census results, the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) has asked the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to reject the excuse of the provincial government and announce the schedule of the local bodies polls.
Calling the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders so-called and self-proclaimed champions of democracy, PSP chief Syed Mustafa Kamal said they were ignoring the local bodies elections in order to seize power and resources and were not serious about resolving the public issues.
