FBI Offers $30,000 Reward to Find Vietnamese Suspect in Boston Chinatown Massacre
The FBI is offering $30,000 to anyone with information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of Hung Tien Pham, a Vietnamese national wanted for his role in the infamous Boston Chinatown massacre.
The incident, which saw the execution-style murders of five male victims, took place at an illegal gambling den at 85A Tyler Street on Jan. 12, 1991.

A sixth victim who survived the attack identified Pham, along with Nam The Tham and Siny Van Tran, as the shooters. Tham and Tran were arrested in China and returned to the U.S. in 2001.

Hung Tien Pham, the man wanted by FBI for a quintuple-murder he committed in Chinatown in 1991.
The FBI Boston Division, the Boston Police Department, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts are asking for the public’s assistance in locating longtime fugitive Hung Tien Pham, who is wanted for the brutal execution-style murders of five men at a Chinatown social club in Boston, Massachusetts thirty years ago today.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $30,000 to anyone who can provide information leading to Pham’s capture and conviction. He should be considered armed and dangerous, and an international flight risk.
Vietnamese national Hung Tien Pham is wanted by the FBI for the January 12, 1990, execution-style killings of five men playing cards in a gambling den, known as the Boston Chinatown massacre.
