The National Hospital for Tropical Diseases run by the Ministry of Health has two branches, one in Hanoi downtown and the other in Hanoi’s Dong Anh outlying district.
The Ministry of Health has moved to lock down the Dong Anh hospital (Hospital No2) on May 5 for contact tracing and testing after a doctor was diagnosed with the SARS-CoV-2 virus on May 4.
Dozens of cases have been detected and more are expected in the coming days.
The Ministry of Health asked those who visited the hospital for regular examination or treatment between April 14 and May 4 to contact nearby medical facilities for consultations and help.

The National Election Council has announced the official list of candidates for the 15th National Assembly election.
According to National Assembly Office Chairman and National Assembly Secretary General Bui Van Cuong, there are 868 people running for election of 500 deputies of the 15th National Assembly.
Regarding the structure of candidates, Cuong said there are 393 female candidates, accounting for 45.28%, an increase of 6.31% compared to the previous term.
There are 185 candidates who are ethnic, accounting for 21.31%, down 2.14% from the previous term.

Many localities have defined it as an important new economic sector and introduced measures to encourage its development.
To date, Vietnam has about 35,000 hectares of specialised cultivation of ornamental plants and flowers, excluding small-scale household farms.
From 2005 to 2015, the sector s output value increased by 7.2 times, reaching VND6.5 trillion (US$281.2 million), of which export turnover was more than US$60 million.
