Just after noon on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, Police Communication Officers with the Natchitoches Police Department received a phone call from an individual who stated they were going to blow up the police station.
The Criminal Investigations Division and the High Tech Crime Unit were notified and they were able to locate the residence where the bomb threat was made in the 500 block of North Street. As a result of their investigation they were able to identify 20-year old Brandon Daniels, of Natchitoches, as the suspect.
Daniels was located and placed under arrest without incident. He is charged with one count of Communicating of False Information of Planned Arson and was placed in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
