This technical advisory role provides joint leadership on Child Safety and Safeguarding by developing policy, strengthening capacity and learning, and improving the quality of the environment which children have access to in our programmes globally, including safety and safeguarding aspects. With a direct line of reporting to the Board of Trustees our Safety and Safeguarding Advisor transforms the culture and understanding within War Child of how to keep children safe and how to implement the requirements of our safeguarding policy. The role sits within our Programme Quality Team working with multi-sector specialists who train, support and advise staff and partners. The position is based in London with up to 40% travel.
