Six people were arrested in Tamil Nadu s Cuddalore district for making alcohol from sanitisers. The incident took place at Ramanathan Kuppam in Cuddalore district on Wednesday.
Following a tip off, police officials rushed to the spot and found that the six men were illegally brewing alcohol from sanitisers. Upon inspection, health department officials confirmed that the material used for making alcohol was indeed sanitisers.

Chennai, May 13 : Four workers, including a woman, were killed and 10 others injured in an ammonia boiler blast at Crimsun Organics in Tamil Nadu s Cuddalore district on Thursday morning, officials said.
The company s plant in SIPCOT Industrial Estate in Cuddalore manufactures pesticides.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced a solatium of Rs 3 lakh to the families of the dead and Rs 1 lakh for the injured.
The injured have been admitted to the government hospital in Cuddalore.
