The report included strong language against the suppression of China’s religious minorities and reiterates the United States’ commitment to countering the abuses of the CCP.

During the press conference on the report, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken seemingly wanted to show the difference from the previous state department s reckless approach. He said that the Biden administration will stand against human rights abuses wherever they occur, regardless of whether the perpetrators are adversaries or partners.
