Manufacturing Modernisation Fund Round 2 recipients announced Last Updated: 28 June 2021 We will support 86 projects to modernise the Australian manufacturing sector, under the Manufacturing Modernisation Fund Round 2. We have announced recipients for Round 2 of the Manufacturing Modernisation Fund (MMF). 86 businesses will receive a share of grant offers worth $55 million. These grants will co-fund new projects that will help modernise Australia’s manufacturing sector. Successful recipients will use the MMF grants to invest in projects that encourage innovation, boost productivity, and create new jobs in Australian manufacturing. The MMF is a key initiative under the Australian Government’s $1.5 billion Modern Manufacturing Strategy. Under the Strategy, grant recipients had to demonstrate alignment with the National Manufacturing Priorities:
