A new, restaurant-style dining effort in Canton seems tailor-made for such times.
Set to debut Thursday, Modern Harvest is a delivery-only, supper-only food source. The owner, Jason Elwell, referred to it as a ghost kitchen – a facility that specializes in delivered meals.
Elwell said the concept is relatively new and usually found in major metropolitan areas. Canton is not among those.
But Elwell believes there s a market for the delivery-only concept in and around that Fulton County city of about 14,000 residents. Particularly if COVID makes customers reticent about eating inside restaurants, if that option is available in the first place.
