Opposition parties have hit out at the Maharashtra government’s decision to give X category security to Yuva Sena functionary Varun Sardesai at a time when it had cut security for many opposition leaders.
While Sardesai (28) is a secretary in the Yuva Sena, a cousin of Sena leader and environment minister Aaditya Thackeray, he is seen as a key figure in the Sena now. His rise has been dramatic in the Sena’s scheme of things and he is now in the party’s inner circle.

New research by regulated property buyers, Good Move, reveals how much it would cost for you to live out your Bridgerton fantasy in a home similar to our favourite characters, or in the right area at least. High street stalwart M&S is winning praise from shoppers over its Good Move line, while well-heeled shoppers can t resist pricey specialist labels like Sweaty Betty and Lululemon.
Italian designer Prada is getting in on the action with a selection of leggings, vests and crop tops - complete with eye-watering price tags. At the other end of the spectrum are supermarket own brand labels like George by Asda and Tu by Sainsbury s, which have pieces for £10 or less.

Looking at the findings, Dyfed-Powys in Wales and England was the only country that was featured in the top five three times, for lowest population rates (6%), crime rates (50%), and house prices (31%), making it the best place to live in the UK for 2021.
Cleveland (low house prices and population), was also featured in the top five lists more than once, while South East England, South West England, and West Midlands were both included in the top five regions for highest green space per person and disposable income, and therefore make up the overall best places to live in 2021.
Commenting on the study, Nima Ghasri, Director at Good Move, said: “With the pandemic shifting what Brits are looking for in a property, with more and more people looking to move away from cities and into more rural spacious properties, we expect an even bigger influx of people looking to move in the New Year.
