South Florida native Jennifer Puckett had clear dreams growing up.
“I always wanted to be a nurse,” she said.
You could even say nursing is in her blood.
Puckett explained, ”I grew up with Good Sam like when my mom worked there I was a kid going to work with her on the weekends.”
Puckett is now a critical care certified registered nurse of eight years specializing in pediatric and neonatal ICU cases.
She regularly travels the country as a crisis response nurse, most recently to treat COVID-19 patients in Houston.

WYANDANCH, NY An 8-month-old baby girl has died from her injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash on Long Island Sunday night, police said.
Saige Berry was in a 2006 Nissan Murano that was traveling eastbound on Davidson Street, near Pine Street, in Wyandanch when it collided with a westbound 2010 Lexus and overturned at 9 p.m., police said.
The driver of the Murano ran away from the crash and has yet to be apprehended, police said.
