Jake Paul has lofty expectations for his boxing career with the next challenge coming against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley on Aug. 29.
Prior to this fight coming together, Paul had spent the better part of the past year calling out Irish superstar Conor McGregor as he attempted to jump start his own boxing career while facing off against the biggest draw in combat sports today.
He even went as far as having a $100,000 custom made gold chain made that included a pendant modeled after McGregor when he fell by second-round knockout loss to Dustin Poirier back in January.

It’s certainly a very nice gesture from Paul in giving Poirier both the 100k chain as well as this hand-written note which clearly shows you how much respect Paul has for both Dustin and Jolie Poirier. And if it wasn’t obvious before, it’s pretty clear how much Paul despises McGregor. The two have had some harsh words against each other in interviews and on social media over the last few months and now that Paul is inserting himself into the McGregor vs. Poirier rivalry, we may come to see the Irishman make a comment at some point, especially now that he’s out of the hospital following

Dustin Poirier can add a few more diamonds to his collection thanks to Jake Paul in the aftermath of his victory over Conor McGregor at UFC 264 (watch highlights).
Paul finally got around to sending his $100,000 “Sleepy McGregor” diamond-encrusted chain to Poirier. The YouTuber-turned-boxer who fights Tyron Woodley on Sun., Aug. 29, 2021 shared on Tuesday that Poirier will auction the necklace with the proceeds benefitting charity.
