A report published by the ICN in September called for measures to provide mental health support and counselling resources for nurses to be scaled up. Speaking in support of the Covid-19: Are you OK? campaign, ICN president Annette Kennedy said she was pleased to endorse efforts by Nursing Times to “demand the proper support that nurses need”. We launched the Covid-19: Are You OK? campaign in April 2020 to first raise awareness of the mental health pressures and wellbeing needs of nurses during and after the coronavirus pandemic. In the autumn, we launched the second phase of the campaign, which partly involves calling on relevant organisations, including charities, unions and other representative bodies, to support its aims.
