INDIANAPOLIS Indianapolis homeowner Lauren Banina wants whoever damaged her mailbox held responsible. She found it mangled earlier this winter after she suspects a snowplow driver came down her street. I looked outside, and I saw that mine had been knocked over and bent up and my neighbors was completely gone, said Lauren Banina.
Other homeowners are still looking for answers too after finding their mailboxes knocked over and damaged reportedly by snowplow trucks. Lauren first thought she was the only victim until she started hearing from so many other people about their mailboxes.
A large grass fire that started Sunday afternoon is threatening Lakewood neighborhoods along Morrison Road near Fox Hollow Golf course and Bear Creek Lake Park.

Those named in arrest reports or receiving police summonses have not been convicted of a crime. In court, the charges against them may be reduced or withdrawn or the defendants may be found not guilty.
Arrest
Glenn C. Specht, 49, of East Hampton was pulled over by police during a traffic stop at South Ferry on Jan. 18 at 1:38 p.m. for failure to stop at a stop sign. He was subsequently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. Police also charged him with drinking alcohol while driving and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection certificate.
