Reward offered for information on suspect wanted in Niagara Falls stabbing

Crime Stoppers Western New York is offering a reward up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of a suspected wanted in a Niagara Falls homicide.  Xavier Crayton is wanted by the Niagara Falls Police Department and also U.S. Marshals in connection with a fatal stabbing in the Falls that happened at 16th Street and Weston Avenue. Niagara Falls Police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death during a fight Thursday night. A City of Niagara Falls spokesperson says police responded to reports of a large group fight in the area of 16th Street and Weston Avenue around 10 p.m. When officers arrived, the fight was over, but they saw a man who had been stabbed laying on the ground. An AMR ambulance crew and the Niagara Falls Fire Department responded to the scene. They treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center where he later died.

Niagara Falls Police looking for bank robbery suspect

Updated: 5:58 PM EDT April 7, 2021 NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. Officers from the Niagara Falls Police Department were called to Niagara Falls Boulevard Wednesday afternoon for reports of a bank robbery. According to police, a man wearing a mask, baseball cap, and a hooded sweatshirt entered the Citizens Bank at 8298 Niagara Falls Boulevard, demanded money from a teller, then fled westbound on foot. Niagara Falls Man Bludgeoned to Death with Brick, Bat, ID d as Wayne Jackson II

By: Staff Reporter The Niagara Reporter has confirmed that the individual who was brutally beaten to death on Friday, April 2nd, 2021, was Wayne Jackson II, of Niagara Falls. The Reporter has further learned that Jackson was bludgeoned with a brick, bat, and a 2×4. Niagara Falls Police Department responded to a call at 0252 hours at 615 Tronolone Place about an unknown disturbance. Patrol officers entered a 3rd-floor apartment finding a deceased male, who appeared to have been bludgeoned to death. 33-year-old Nicholas John Bartek was also in the apartment at the time of the Police Departments’ arrival. Bartek was arrested for Second Degree Murder. He was arraigned in Niagara Falls City Court on Friday, April 2nd, 2021.
