The Southern Food Draft is here. Obviously in honor of this week’s NFL Draft, we at the AL.com Life & Culture team thought there’s no better time to assemble our ultimate meat-and-three plates using the draft format.

The latest squad has been announced for the Indigenous Marathon Foundation (IMF) program and it includes a record number of women wanting to complete a full marathon.
In 2021 the IMF squad has 8 women and 6 men, including two ACT-based Indigenous women: Hope Davison and Joyrah Newman.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Home to over 2,000 animals, John Ball Zoo has been nothing short of bustling with activity even before it opened for the 2021 season this past weekend.
MLive found that out first hand, spending portions of multiple days in the weeks leading up to the season-opening day on Saturday. MLive went behind the scenes to follow some of the dedicated staff who have cared for animals throughout the pandemic.
