Betty Price, the grieving widow of the late Crenshaw Christian Center founder Frederick K.C. Price, defended his teachings on prosperity and said a misleading ABC News report about the televangelist on the topic triggered health problems that haunted him until his death.
“We can’t even tell you what he went through when ABC did that to him. He had worked all of his life, the whole 50-something years he had been preaching … ABC and 20/20 messed his reputation up in 10 minutes,” Betty Price recalled during a message about finding peace in a troubled environment two Sundays ago.

A private memorial will be held for late televangelist and Crenshaw Christian Center founder Frederick K.C. Price in the wake of his recent death from COVID-19. Supporters and other members of the public will be allowed digital access to the event, Price’s family announced Friday.
“The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and condolences from around the globe,” reads a press statement from the ministry announcing details of the funeral service set for March 6 at 11 a.m. said on Friday.

LOS ANGELES – As reported earlier, the family of Dr. Frederick K.C. Price announced his passing on the evening of February 12, following a brief bout with COVID-19.
The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and condolences from around the globe. In honor of Dr. Price’s legacy,
an open to the public lying in repose closed casket viewing is slated for Thursday, March 4th and Friday, March 5th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. On Saturday, March 6th, an 11 a.m. private family live streamed service will occur followed by a private family burial. The service may be viewed on EIF YouTube Channel, EIF Facebook Page, EIF website-watch now, and EIF on demand. Amid COVID-19 realities, the family is acutely aware and deeply concerned for the safety of others. Strict adherence to all safety protocols is appreciated and will be enforced.
