Ryman Healthcare has been named the most trusted brand in the aged care and retirement industry for 2021.
It is the seventh time that Ryman, New Zealand’s largest retirement village operator, has taken the top award in the industry in the Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brands awards.
Ryman, which pioneered the industry back in in 1984, previously won the top consumer award in the industry in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

retirement village operator, has taken the top award in the
industry in the Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brands
awards.
Ryman, which pioneered the industry back in in
1984, previously won the top consumer award in the industry
in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
The aim of
the awards is to identify the names Kiwi consumers recognise
and trust the most.
The winners are chosen from a
survey of 1,600 New Zealanders across 65 categories.

Cascade Natural Gas tops national environmental survey
KENNEWICK, Wash. (KTVZ) Cascade Natural Gas ranked at the top of the list of 31 utilities named as 2021 Environmental Champions on Earth Day. The natural survey was conducted by Escalent, a top human behavior and analytics firm.
The results were based on a 1,000-point index scale and included 140 of the largest utility companies in the United States. Consumers surveyed cite significant improvements on utility support for environmental causes and dedication to clean energy. The average index score was 688. Cascade Natural Gas topped the list with a score of 751.
“Consumer demand for utility efforts and offerings that help protect the environment is increasing every year,” said Chris Oberle, senior vice president at Escalent. “Our Environmental Champion utilities are proving to customers they are up to the challenge.”
Positive Portugal property market results
Real estate agency ERA Portugal, has reported the sale of more than 2,500 properties in the first quarter of 2021, representing a value of around €146 million euros.
The month of March represented 45 percent of the total billing in the first three months of the year, and is already the best month of billing for the real estate agent since December 2019.
In the first quarter of 2021, the average price of properties sold was €150,936, an increase of 11 percent over the same period. ERA also recorded a turnover of €17 million in real estate brokerage commissions and listed approximately 9,081 properties.
