Ryan Pemberton, 22, of Station Road, Attlebridge, was found guilty of being in charge of a motor vehicle while above the alcohol limit during his trial at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on February 15, 2021. The court heard from prosecutor Stephen Poole that Pemberton s veering between the lanes  on the stretch of the A47 between Blofield and Brundall was reported by a member of the public at 9.15pm on July 11 of last year.

Richard Anthony Gardiner, of Heywood Road in Diss, denies one charge of coercive and controlling behaviour over his wife between January 1, 2016 and October 4, 2019 in Wymondham. A trial, which began at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 16, heard evidence from his wife, who accused Gardiner of making her send him £50,000 to pay his ex-wife, as well as tracking her whereabouts with the Find My Friends app. She said: I would take the path of least resistance where I could because the consequences were quite debilitating and I was never anywhere I shouldn t be and had nothing to hide it.

Simon Fitzgerald, 33, of Sunningdale Close, London, indicated a guilty plea by post to the charge of driving without due care and attention and driving otherwise in accordance with a licence at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on February 1. The court heard that just before 3pm on July 18 2020, Fitzgerald was doing 35mph in a 30mph zone along Bell Road in Barnham Broom, near Dereham, when he was stopped by a special constable.

Peter Mendham, 60, of Augustus Hare Drive, Norwich, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid test certificate by post ahead of his hearing at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on February 1. Neil Carr, prosecuting, said at 6.45pm on October 20, 2020, Mr Mendham used a Renault Master Van without a test certificate in force. Mendham had written to the magistrates, saying: Please find included my MOT, which expired on October 1.
