In light of the importance of the annual election for members of Harvard’s Board of Overseers and heightened interest stemming from last year’s vigorously contested results and the possibility of a similar contest this year
Harvard Magazine is providing enhanced coverage. We asked each candidate presented by the HAA nominating committee and each member of the Harvard Forward slate seeking a place on the ballot by petition to answer these questions:
• What are the most important challenges facing the University and what are its most significant opportunities?

Born December 4, 1996; we had 24 years of love, selflessness, and light from this beautiful soul. He went home to the Holy Father December 28, 2020.
Cezar was one who suffered in silence throughout his life, he had pain and breathing problems almost every day. He never shrugged from responsibility or lending a helping hand. He used his humor and easy-going nature to push away the negativity of the world or those who were gloomy. He loved to laugh and seldom found a reason to frown. He was a writer, a thinker, a tinkerer, a plumber, mover, entrepreneur, cleaner, Santa, student, advocate for the “underdog”, boxer, artist, shopper and anything he needed to be to “fix” things or make something better for whomever needed help.
