Ledbury s Helping Hand, a leading producer of litter claws, is supporting the Mail-backed Great British Spring Clean campaign - that has seen 210,000 volunteers pledge their time - for the 12th year.
Mr McGough, 83, who lives in Barnes, south-west London with his wife said he is a fan of the Mail-backed Great British Spring Clean campaign, which ends this weekend.

North Watford Labour members Asif Khan, Richard Smith, Bilqees Mathoor, and Dennis Watling, spent the weekend picking up litter along the busy St Albans Road. They also took their rubbish bags and litter pickers to Callowland, Harebreaks, and Goodwood Recreation Grounds, as well as Orchard Park. Cllr Khan, who organised the event, said: We litter picked the main parks in North Watford on Saturday and along St Albans Road on the Sunday. It was also good to mark Global Environment Day with clearing up our local parks too.

Welwyn Hatfield MP Grant Shapps joined Network Rail staff in cleaning up Hatfield station as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean.
The secretary of state for transport donned gloves and wielded a litter pick as he and staff cleared up the outside of the station.
The MP said: “I’ve challenged Network Rail to clean up the network as much as possible before people start coming back, as we hope, get to the next stage of the unlock.
