Garrett Franken (Senior; Atlantic, Iowa), Jesse Jansma (Senior; Sioux Center, Iowa), Jacob Vis (Freshman; Rock Valley, Iowa) and Cade Bleeker (Sophomore; Sioux Center, Iowa) all were on the list released Wednesday morning by the GPAC.

(Wednesday, March 3; Sioux Center, Iowa) Post season honors have been announced by the Great Plains Athletic Conference for the recently completed 2020-21 GPAC season. Four Dordt Defenders have been accorded honors in voting done by the conference coaches.
Ashtyn Veerbeek (Junior; Sioux Center, Iowa) earned first-team honors, Erika Feenstra (Senior; Hull, Iowa) and Karly Gustafson (Sophomore; Ethan, South Dakota) claimed second-team honors and Bailey Beckman (Sophomore; Panora, Iowa) was an honorable mention selection.

Yankton, S.D. – Wednesday kicked off the first NAIA national championship event during the 2020-21 season. The 41st annual Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Championships was held at Ruth Donohoe Fieldhouse on the campus of Mount Marty (S.D.). Dakota State (S.D.) is the host of the national meet for the third consecutive year.
Day 1 Highlights
The first day of the national meet features preliminary rounds in 11 different women’s events, starting with three consecutive relays competition in the morning/mid-afternoon session.
The top two place finishers in each heat plus the next four best times advanced to Friday’s finals. There were two national champions declared on the first day.
