Claude E. Wade will join the company in the second quarter of 2021 in the newly created role, executive vice president, global head of Operations and Chief Digital Officer, AIG.

Wade, who has 30 years of operations experience, primarily with Fortune 100 companies, joins AIG from BlackRock where he most recently served as global head of Client Experience and head of the Atlanta Innovation Hub. Wade was responsible for shaping the global distribution ecosystem and improving the digital experience for BlackRock clients, revenue retention and efficiency improvements and had overall executive responsibility for creating BlackRock’s Atlanta office and digital innovation center. Los Promoted to Executive VP at Ohio’s National Interstate Insurance March 10, 2021
National Interstate Insurance Co. (National Interstate), based in Richfield, Ohio, has promoted Shawn Los to executive vice president.
Los will assume responsibility for National Interstate’s Truck, Passenger Transportation and National Accounts Divisions, while continuing to lead the Specialty Division.
He joined National Interstate in 2001 as an underwriter trainee and has held various positions of increasing responsibility during his tenure with the company. Through his role with the Alternative Products Division, Los was instrumental in the formation and management of National Interstate’s alternative risk transfer (captive) programs and also led the underwriting efforts when National Interstate acquired Vanliner Insurance Co. in 2010.
