WASHINGTON - A health expert who often shares the spotlight with her Coronavirus Task Force colleague, Dr. Anthony Fauci, is resigning following public criticism of her decision to attend a family gathering during an especially troublesome period of the pandemic.
While Dr. Fauci and the CDC outspokenly recommended avoiding holiday gatherings with individuals outside of one s household, his fellow Task Force member, Dr. Deborah Birx, attended a family Thanksgiving Dinner with family members who are not members of her personal household.
In This Together Cambria 1:53 am
A group of Local Activists are using Social Media to share stories of Cambria County Residents with COVID-19. They’re hoping to encourage Local Leaders to do more to stop the spread in our Communities.
You may have seen a new group on Facebook circling around called “In This Together Cambria” which tries to influence people to do their part in bringing this Pandemic to an end. This month, as Cambria County resident Ashlee Kiel scrolls through her Facebook, she’s been noticing a common trend. She says posts of big Thanksgiving Dinners were right next to posts of people sharing their stories about suffering from COVID-19. So, Ashlee reached out to other local Activists online and decided to take action.
What kind of ambassador are you?

Every Friday morning, I meet with a group of guys from our church here, and we play a round of golf together. It never fails that one of those guys will make some comment about my dress. For you see, I normally wear a red shirt with a red cap, and somewhere on that shirt or cap is an Ohio State logo. My golf cart has a big Ohio State logo on the front, and my golf bag is an OSU-emblazoned bag. One of the fellows in that group is a Xichigan fan who will, just to counter my obviously-biased approach, wear maize and blue colors. And a couple of others will wear their favorite Spartan green hats and logos supporting Xichigan State. Throw in a couple of Illinois and Purdue representatives and the Big 10 conference is very well represented at our weekly golf outing.

You Have Power Over Your Mind Not Outside Events
In today s world, I take nothing for granted.
At first, I thought Marcus Aurelius meant “outside events,” as in eating outdoors, but I quickly realized he was talking about circumstances outside our control. Which is everything these days, as if a title wave has washed over our world, and the structures we depend on are no longer occupiable. As you know I dream about water when I’m overwhelmed so this is truly the perfect metaphor for me.
