Monday mornings for the Polygon staff are always exciting, due in no small part to us having the chance to excitedly gab and share about all the cool stuff we watched over the weekend whether it’s the latest sci-fi series on Netflix, a newly released Korean action flick, or chipping away at our personal anime watchlist.
And as usual, the answers range widely, as some people check out what’s new and popular on streaming services, and some return to past favorites. Here are a few of the shows and movies we’re enjoying watching right now, and what you might enjoy watching as well.

What a weird week! A number of new titles snuck into DEG’s Watched at Home Top 20 list this week, including
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (No. 11), which fans likely turned to after watching that awesome
Godzilla vs. Kong trailer,
The Big Short (No. 13),
Snychronic (No. 17) and
Greenland starring Gerard Butler, which landed at No. 4 in its debut.
Still, the biggest surprise was the sudden rise of Martin Scorsese’s
The Wolf of Wall Street, which climbed 10 spots to reach No. 9 on the chart. Considering all the GameStop and Wall Street hoopla, the sudden urge to visit films like

The
Ip Man series of films looks at the life of legendary Wing Chun master Ip Man (Donnie Yen), who is probably better known in kung fu circles as the man who trained Bruce Lee. The first film establishes Ip Manâs sensibilities and moral compass as a man who has lost nearly everything including his palatial home after the Japanese occupation of China, living in near poverty and helping the workers at a cotton mill in his town stand up to not only a bullying gang trying to extort funds from the factory but also the Japanese General, Miura (Hiroyuki Ikeuchi), who enjoys seeing his soldiers beat up the Chinese locals in kung fu matches, with locals receiving bags of rice as long as they remain undefeated.
