WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Wichita County 4-H is hosting a luggage and toiletry drive to help area foster and homeless children.
The following items are needed:
luggage (all types)
gently used spring/summer clothing
toiletries: shampoo/conditioner; hair gel; hair spray; toothpaste/toothbrushes; mouthwash; lotion; baby wipes; makeup wipes; deodorant
cosmetics
head lice shampoo
Items can be taken to the drop boxes at the following locations between April 1 and April 30:

The Maharashtra Assembly saw heated exchanges on Thursday over the State-wide donation drive for the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
State Congress chief and party MLA Nana Patole alleged that citizens were being threatened to make donations. “There are reports from different areas that people collecting donation are resorting to threats. Who are these people collecting funds in the name of Ram? Has the Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP] taken a contract for extortion in the name of Lord Ram?” he asked.

Girl Scout troops across Louisiana will be giving back this weekend through their Cookies for a Cause program.
This year, drive thru donation booths will be set up on
Saturday, March 6, from 11 am to 5 pm at five locations throughout Girl Scout services areas.
Donations received at each booth will be used to benefit local essential workers and area food banks.
Last year, over 6,000 packages of Girl Scout cookies were donated to food banks throughout the organization s 42-parish coverage area. After 2020, the Girl Scouts said they wanted to do even more to create moments of joy for those who truly need it.
