When the van finally stalled and officers managed to arrest the suspect driver, the video shows a number of cannabis plants inside the vehicle. Officers described the find as a “substantial amount of marijuana plants,”
FOX 2 reports.
The incident is one of a number involving suspects fleeing from police in Wyandotte, according to
WWJ 950. The driver in this incident “was reportedly already on a GPS tether from a prior situation.”
WXYZ-TV reports the incident represents chase number 20 for Wyandotte police since May.

Marijuana heist leads to high-speed chase in Wyandotte
WYANDOTTE, Mich. – A police officer on patrol noticed a van out of place in an alley at about 4 a.m. Tuesday in Wyandotte and went to check it out.
He found two men caught on camera stealing full grown marijuana plants from a home that has a legal grow. When the officer told the men to stop and show him their hands, one of them took off running while the other got behind the wheel of the van, reversing it through the alley.
